Maryam Kaviani, who shot to fame playing the lead role in ifilm series ‘It Was an Angel’, has tied the knot with a senior Iranian diplomat.
Cinematographer Nazi Khoshakhlaq announced the marriage of the star and Ramin Mehmanparast, the former spokesman of the Iranian foreign ministry and the former ambassador to Poland and Lithuania, by posting a photo of the couple.
Kaviani was born in Iran’s southwestern city of Ahvaz in July 1970.
She has appeared in movies such as ‘The Juggler’, ‘Spaghetti in 8 Minutes’, ‘The Rival Wife’, ‘The End of the Road’, ‘Trouble’, ‘Mana’, ‘Extreme Cold’, ‘The Outcasts 3’, ‘Dissertation’, and ‘Scandal’.
She has also participated in several series, including ‘Night Path’, ‘Day of Departure’, ‘The Basement’, ‘Tell the World to Stop’, ‘Shokraneh’, ‘Gharib's World’, ‘Pioneer’, ‘The Fifth Sun’, ‘The Rich and the Poor’, ‘Worlds Apart’, ‘My Villa’, and ‘Madine’.
